sarahw222Young Marketing Leader of the Year

During 2011, Mayuri Tanna, European product manager at children’s car seat manufacturer Britax, managed the launch of two products, both of which were the first of their kind for the company. The products aimed to spearhead a new beginning for Britax, and Tanna was responsible for leading a programme called ‘The safety initiative’, which aimed to make the seats more user-friendly and educate parents on safe installation, as research showed that only 30% of car seats are correctly installed. The programme ensured that Britax’s more complex products were sold by those who had been given in-depth training about them, and Tanna was responsible for training more than one hundred sales representatives and distributors. This resulted in Britax’s sales representatives been considered as ‘safety initiative specialists’.
