McDonald’s senior VP, CMO, McDonald’s UK, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland won the Marketing Society Leader of the Year 2016 trophy at last night’s (15 June) awards ceremony with judges recognising his marketing leadership at the fast food retailer. Read the full write-up here.
An excellent night
Getting the crowd in stitches – covering everything from Brexit to Brits abroad – was stand-up comic Russell Kane, who hosted the night with aplomb. Best Leading Edge Thinking went to NHS Blood and Transplant for their Bleed for England campaign and O2 took two prizes, Building Customer Relationships for Proactive re-sign and Cause Related Marketing for their GoThinkBig project.
