2012 Marketing Society Awards for Excellence
Awards Deadline
The official deadline has now closed but late entries can be accepted up until 5pm on Friday 24 February 2012.
Who can Enter
Entries are submitted by the owner of the brand or company, or their marketing agency. All agencies that enter are required to gain prior approval from a director at their client company, and supply their client’s email address for verification. Entrants do not have to be a member of The Marketing Society to enter the Awards.
Award Entry fees for 2012
- Member: £375 + VAT for each entry
- Non member: £495 + VAT for each entry
- Charity: £250 + VAT for each entry into the not-for-profit category
from a charity/not-for-profit organisation - Young Marketer of the Year: £150 + VAT
Award Entry Submissions
An entry takes the form of a written submission to a maximum of 2000 words. Entrants must also submit with each entry an Executive Summary of no more than 300 words. This covered:

• Scale of task
• Key results
Things to Remember
Permission:When submitting entries, entrants must ensure they have obtained permission to feature material from external suppliers as necessary. Third parties should be made aware that the material could appear in print in Marketing.
Case Studies: The Marketing Society and Marketing will publish winning and shortlisted case studies, to promote marketing excellence. If their case study contains sensitive information, entrants were required to clearly state this and indicate which information should not be published. In addition, some winners will be approached and invited to present at a best practice event in 2012.
